BACK and better than ever (minus one finger)...

How was everyone's Thanksgiving? And weekend?

Oh well, mine was fabulous too, thank you for asking.

My Hunnie has been in town for 5 days!! Friends from Oregon visited too!
We had such a great Thanksgiving Day...7 of us friends- love the hodge podge  new adult orphan friends kind of thanksgiving. My hus, my sis and I almost didn't make it as we had to make a "quick stop" at the emergency room. I may or may not have stuck my finger in the hand blender. NO...I was not making margaritas! p.s. still have all 10...just one with 6 stitches.

So yes. NEXT best news is that my sweet potato caserole actually was good.

SIDE BAR- has anyone seen Harry Potter? Is it amazing?

Curious...at what age do we stop sniffling? I'm 26 and I blow my nose all of the G.D. time and still I am the creep who is sniffling in the corner. Oh winter, you are so bittersweet. Love the snow, hate that no one can make it into to  work. Love the crowded streets and lit trees, hate that it takes 22 minutes to check out at Bartell's. LOVE the holiday drinks at Starbucks, hate that they all have 800 calories.

Hot things to rock for this December. FUR anything, leather leggings, chunky knit sweaters (see last post) and a big fat happy holidays smile :)

TALK AT YA SOON!! XOXOXO JULES

  1. I just got the he-bee-jee bees thinking about all the possibilities of how your hand was in a blender...and no, there is no need to tell me what really happened as I may pee my pants.

Yes, I watched harry Potter- it's dark and amazing and I am upset I have to wait until July 2011 to see Part 2.

And I am a bit older than you and sniffle ALL THE TIME!

pS what the heck is Bartells?

    PPS miss ya!!!

  2. Hey, When I was a kid, they had a toy that was called something like 'six finger' that was a 'spy' thing... you stuck it in between two fingers on your hand and you could shoot things from it... maybe you should market the 'six stitch finger' but I don't know what it should do... maybe stick that one in the blender (instead of a real one!) Glad to hear everything turned out okay, though... it beat your sister's hospital experience a couple of years ago... we missed you all, though!
